A plot about searching for something or someone important, but being unable to find it.
The motif of a search reflects the active process of individuation—the psyche literally shows that a part of oneself (the object of the search) has not yet been found and integrated. What is more important than the object being sought is the process itself—where attention is drawn, what feels most urgent to locate.
Anxiety, determination, disappointment
Often arrives during periods involving the inner question "what am I missing" without a clear answer. Perhaps the object of the search is a metaphor for something real that feels lost or missing in your life.
Finish the sentence in writing: "What I really lack right now is..."—without editing the first answer that comes to mind.
